"Twist and Pout was recorded in the late 00's, after I had been playing solo for a bit and was sort of written to take the piss out of folks who go to shows and hang in the back and talk or heckle bands through sets. It was halfway a song to pull out to entertain myself in sets and halfway as a pre-emptive strike against a potentially dead or uninterested crowd. I had re-recorded the song to end my 2019 'The Troubled Times of Samuel Heck' EP in a lo-fi take with a medley of some other songs I used to play bled-into it, sort of as I used to play it live. Though, I always preferred this recording of it in it's original state." -Robbie
